CFMS Weekly Announcements | April 8 – 13

• All current CFMS students who are interested in playing sports next school year will need a current athletic physical before tryouts or practice. Cardinal Athletics and The Lewis Clinic are hosting free athletic physicals on April 24, beginning 7th period until finished. Families should be prepared to pick up their student after school; we can't guarantee that students will be finished in time to ride buses or be in the car line for regular dismissal. Please send the completed AAA Physical Form with your student to their physical. Copies are also available from coaches and on the Cardinal Athletics webpage.

• Camden Fairview Bands' Spring Concert is this Wednesday, April 10, at 6PM at CFMS Auditorium. All band students 6-12 grades will perform, and families, friends, and community members are invited to join us in support of these students' hard work this year!

• Mark your calendars! The CFMS Choir will host its Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 14, at 6:30PM in the CFMS Cafeteria.

• We're encouraging students to keep #ShowingUpTogether as we head into the last 9-weeks of school! Students who are at school and on time to all classes from April 5 through April 28 will be rewarded with an ice cream celebration outside.

• CFHS Diamond Dancers Tryouts: This year's 8th graders are eligible to tryout for next year's dance team. There is a mandatory parent meeting on April 8th at 5:30PM in the CFHS Little Theater. Dance tryout practice is April 22-26 from 3:45-5PM in the CFHS Multipurpose Building. Dance tryouts are April 27th. 

• On Friday, April 12, CFMS is hosting a Spring Fling Dance for CFMS students. We're excited to offer this chance for students to have fun with their friends! Students should wear semi-formal or formal attire, and refreshments will be served. Tickets are $10 and are on sale in the CFMS Front Office through April 8. Sign up here to chaperone!

• On Monday, April 22, CFMS is holding a Testing Celebration to celebrate students trying their best on standardized testing! Sign up here to volunteer! The celebration will take place from 1PM-3PM and will feature these fun activities:

  • Tie Dye Shirts (Students must provide their own shirt)

  • Face Painting

  • Color Run (wear clothes that you are comfortable getting stained; the powder packs are washable)

  • Sack Races

  • Spoon Races

  • Tug of War

  • Obstacle Course 

  • Basketball

• Remember: CFMS will now dismiss at 3:30PM Mondays through Fridays. There will be no more Early Out Wednesdays for the rest of the school year.
