Positive Covid-19 Case Update

The Camden Fairview School District Administration has been informed that a coach on the high school boys basketball team has tested positive for Covid-19. All boys varsity and junior varsity basketball games have been cancelled until further notice. The Administration followed the response protocol issued by The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and contacted the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH). All close contacts have been informed. The district has taken active measures to deep clean and disinfect the facilities appropriately. For the privacy of our students and staff, the Camden Fairview School District cannot share personal information regarding this case. The school district has followed the procedures outlined by the Arkansas Department of Health and remains steadfast in our commitment to the safety of our students and staff.

Camden Fairview Middle School houses 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in the Camden Fairview School District. The combined enrollment is 750 students with 53 certified staff members and a support staff of over 20 people including mentors, aides, cafeteria and janitorial workers.
